Archiving paper invoices to SAP (early archiving / late archiving)

Paper documents can be scanned to a network folder, which M-Files Server monitors. M-Files Server invokes a function module in SAP that creates an invoice object in SAP and performs other necessary steps, such as associating the M-Files-based invoice image with the invoice object in SAP and starting the appropriate workflow in SAP for the invoice object. This allows organizations to leverage M-Files workflow capabilities to get the purchase invoices approved and then seamlessly integrated to the accounting process in SAP.

Print list archiving

Print list archiving refers to the process of exporting print list data from SAP to M-Files repository for archival. Print lists are typically monthly, quarterly, or annual financial reports such as lists of all financial transactions in the specified period of time. Print lists can be accessed via SAP and M-Files UI’s.

Viewing M-Files documents in SAP UI
